We have compiled a list of five Los Angeles tourist attractions that will be more than just an experience, but an authentic LA adventure.

1.     Watts Towers Art Center-

This is an attraction that can’t be missed if you are a fan of truly eclectic art. The towers took over 33 years to complete, and tallest of the towers stands at over 99 feet. The towers were made by Italian construction worker Sabato Rodia and are decorated with found items such as porcelain, tile, and glass. They are about as interesting as freestanding sculpture gets and the monument is on the National Register of Historic Places in Los Angeles.

2.     Abandoned Zoo in Griffith Park

Free and open to the public, the abandoned zoo in Griffith Park is a wonderfully bizarre oddity that is fun to explore in Los Angeles. You can walk through old animal cages, and look at years of colorful street art all before enjoy a picnic in the park.
